What you are actually buying

A writer takes your instructions, your files and your deadline, and writes the paper from its first sentence. Nothing comes out of an archive, and nobody pastes your topic into a template. When the work is done, the essay is uploaded to your BestEssay account as a document you download, and it stays there with the whole order history.

The paper is built to the numbers you set in the order form. Order three pages and you get about 825 words, double spaced, in 12 pt Times New Roman with one inch margins. The citation style is the one you picked, APA, MLA, Chicago, Harvard or another. The academic level decides how deep the reading goes and what register the writer works in, from a high school class to a PhD seminar.

What the paper is for is written into the Terms before you pay. It is a model for your own research and study, a reference for work you then produce yourself. How you use it, and keeping to your school’s rules, is your decision and your responsibility, and the Terms and Conditions put it in exactly those words.

How to check a site before you pay

Every point below can be checked on the page it names, before any money moves. Run the same list on any other site you are comparing.

• The price appears before payment. Here the order form totals the order as you set the paper type, level, pages, spacing and deadline, and you pay only once you have seen the figure.
• You can write to the person doing the work. Your account has a message thread with the writer assigned to your order, and it stays open until the order closes.
• Revisions are counted in days. Ours are free for 14 days after the first delivery, and for 30 on dissertations and other large projects, as long as the request stays inside your original instructions.
• Refunds are written down. The refund table in the Terms says what comes back at each stage of an order, from a full refund before a writer is assigned to partial refunds or store credit after that.
• Your details stay with the company. Writers see your instructions and files and never your name, email address, phone number or payment details.
• Support answers in writing, at any hour. WhatsApp chat, email to support@bestessay.com and the thread in your account are staffed around the clock, and there is no phone queue to sit in.

Buying an essay here

1. Open the order form and choose Essay as the paper type. Then set the academic level, the number of pages, the spacing and the deadline, and watch the total change as you go.
2. Write the instructions. Paste the prompt, name the citation style and the number of sources, and attach the rubric, your notes and anything your teacher handed out. Instructions a stranger could follow produce the best paper.
3. Pay, and the order goes to a writer. If they need something, their questions arrive in the message thread in your account, and your answers go straight back to them.
4. The essay lands in your account before the deadline you chose. If a delay ever looks likely, support tells you before the deadline rather than after it.
5. Read it against your instructions while the 14 days of free revisions run. Anything the writer missed goes back to them through the thread, and they rework the paper to match what you asked for.

Essays people buy

Each essay type below needs something different from you. The middle column is the part of the brief that changes the result most, so it is worth writing out in full.

A type that is missing from the table is usually still an essay in the order form. A reflective piece, a critical response or a literature review for a class all go in as Essay, with the task explained in the instructions.

IB essays

The Theory of Knowledge essay answers one of the six prescribed titles the IB publishes for your exam session, in no more than 1,600 words. Name the title in the instructions, list the areas of knowledge you mean to bring in, and add the real examples you want built into the argument. A TOK essay reads best when the examples come from your own subjects and experience, so the more of them you supply, the closer the model sits to the essay you will write.

The Extended Essay is an independent research paper of up to 4,000 words in one IB subject, built around a research question you agree with your supervisor. Put the question, the subject, the sources you have and the assessment criteria for that subject into the instructions. At 275 words a page, 4,000 words comes to 15 pages double spaced. The IB expects the candidate’s own work in both, so what you buy here is a model to learn from and write against, as the Terms describe every paper.

What the price depends on

Six settings make up the total, and you choose every one of them in the order form.

• The paper type. An essay, a research paper and a dissertation chapter are priced differently.
• The academic level, from high school to PhD.
• The quality level, which is Standard, Premium or Platinum.
• The number of pages, at 275 words each when double spaced.
• The spacing. A single-spaced page holds 550 words and costs more than a double-spaced one.
• The deadline. The shorter it is, the higher the rate, and the shortest ones also cap how many pages the form accepts.

The figure appears in the price calculator and again in the order form before you pay, and the prices page explains how it is built. Optional extras such as Top 10 Writers or Proofread by Editor are added only when you tick them.

When something is wrong

A revision

If the essay misses something in your instructions, ask for a revision in the message thread within 14 days of the first delivery, and the writer reworks it free of charge. The request has to stay inside the original instructions. A new requirement, such as a longer word count or a different prompt, becomes a paid editing request or a new order.

A late delivery

The deadline you chose is the target for the first delivery. If the writer is running behind, support tells you before the deadline, and you can object in writing. Lateness you never agreed to is handled under the refund table in the Terms.

A refund

Cancel before a writer is assigned and you get a full refund. Cancel while the writer is working and you get a refund or store credit of up to 60%, depending on how much time has passed and how urgent the order was. Every request goes in writing, through the message thread or by email to support@bestessay.com.

What the writer sees

The writer gets your order and nothing else. That means the paper type, the level, the deadline, the instructions and the files you attached, which is everything needed to write the essay.

Your name, email address, phone number and payment details never reach the writer. The company keeps them to run your order and does not sell them, as the Privacy Policy sets out. One part is in your hands. Anything you type into the instructions or place in an uploaded file is visible to the writer, so leave your name and your student ID out of the documents you attach.
