This Privacy Policy explains what personal data BestEssay.com collects, why we collect it, who receives it and how long we keep it. It forms part of our Terms and Conditions and covers the Website, your Account, every Order and the messages you send us.
Defined terms
Capitalized words on this page have the meanings below. Words defined in the Terms and Conditions, such as Account, Order, Writer and Support, keep the meaning given there.
- Company means PVexperts, the controller of the personal data described here. In the sections that follow, the Company is “we”, “us” and “our”.
- Personal Data means information that identifies a person or can be linked to one.
- Data Subject means the person the Personal Data is about. The sections that follow address the Data Subject as “you”.
- Processing means anything done with Personal Data, from collecting and storing it to sharing and deleting it.
- Provider means a business that processes Personal Data on the Company’s behalf under a contract, such as a payment processor or a hosting company.
- Visitor ID means the random code kept in a cookie in a visitor’s browser, which lets the Company recognize the same browser on a later visit.
What we collect
Details you give us
When you create an Account or place an Order, you give us your email address and the name, phone number and country the order form asks for. Your time zone is optional.
Each Order adds its instructions, the files you upload, your messages with Support and your Writer, your order history, and any ratings or feedback you leave. Messages you send us by email or WhatsApp are kept with the rest of your correspondence. Chats that start from the WhatsApp button also pass through WhatsApp, under its own privacy terms.
If you type your email address into the order form and leave without ordering, we keep that address for up to 45 days, linked to your Visitor ID, so we can see where orders are left unfinished.
Payment details
Card payments go through third-party payment processors. We never receive or store your full card number. We see whether a payment succeeded and a few limited details, such as the last digits of the card, the country that issued it and the processor’s fraud signals. If we ask you to verify a payment, for example with a screenshot of the charge in your online banking, that material is used only for the check and deleted afterwards.
Visits and devices
When you visit, we record technical data. It includes your IP address and the country it points to, your browser and device type, the pages you open, the page that referred you and any campaign tags in the link you followed.
Cookies
We set four cookies of our own.

How we use it
Each purpose rests on a legal basis under the GDPR.

Every promotional email carries an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time.
Who receives it
Writers
Your Writer sees the instructions and files for the Order. Writers never see your name, email address, phone number or payment details. Please keep your own personal data out of instructions and uploaded files, because anything placed there is visible to the Writer.
Providers and others
Each recipient gets only what it needs for its part of the work.
- Payment processors and banks, to take and check payments.
- Hosting and IT Providers, which run the Website and store its data.
- Email delivery Providers, which send our messages.
- WhatsApp and the messaging platform we use to answer it, when you write to us there.
- Professional advisers and public authorities, where the law requires it.
- Other websites and services operated by the Company, where they service your Orders and Account.
We do not sell Personal Data.
Transfers abroad
Providers may process Personal Data outside your country and outside the European Economic Area. Such transfers rely on safeguards such as the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
Keeping and protecting it
How long we keep it
- Account and order records stay while your Account is in use, then as long as disputes, accounting and legal obligations need them, and never longer than 10 years after the Account was last used.
- Verification material is deleted once the check is done.
- An email address from an unfinished order form is kept for up to 45 days.
- Our own records of visits and of how the order form is used are kept for 13 months.
- Data used for promotional emails is kept until you unsubscribe.
- Cookies last as long as the table above shows.
We complete a verified deletion request within 14 days, except for records the law requires us to keep.
Data security
Every page of the Website is served over HTTPS. Staff access to Personal Data is limited to the people who need it for their work, and card data stays with the payment processors. No system is perfectly secure, so keep your password private and tell Support at once if you suspect anyone has misused your Account.
Your rights
Under the GDPR
If the EU or UK GDPR applies to you, you have the right to access your Personal Data, correct it, delete it, restrict its Processing, receive it in a portable form and object to its Processing, including for direct marketing. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. You can also complain to a data protection authority.
California residents
We do not sell personal information. If you live in California, you can ask what personal information we hold about you and ask us to delete it. Write to support@bestessay.com with “California Privacy Request” in the subject line.
Making a request
Send your request to support@bestessay.com from the email address on your Account. We may ask you to confirm your identity before acting, and we answer within one month.
Children, changes and contact
Children
The Service is not directed at anyone under 16. If we learn that we hold a child’s Personal Data, we delete it.
Changes to this policy
Changes are published on this page with a new “last updated” date, shown at the foot.
